Vista

I was going to lump Windows Vista apologists in there, but I don’t think there are any left.

I’ve seen Vista on screen in shops and watched people use it over their shoulders. I got to try it a bit on christmas day, however, and what stuck to me is how fucking ugly the thing is. I think a particular window with a big, semi-transparent apron, through which everything in the background could be seen as a dirty smudge is what pops into my head now every time I hear Vista mentioned.

I’m way behind on this but I’m struck by just how ugly that thing was. XP is a pig but it’s just plain ugly. Vista makes me think of lipstick on a pig. At first it might sound like an improvement but then the horror creeps in.

I’m probably overreacting here but everybody loves it when a Mac fanboi goes Windows-bashing anyway. Amirite?
